Avocado Tartare with a Twist
So you may be wondering, how does Avo Tartare differ from guac?
So you may be wondering, how does Avo Tartare differ from guac? The avocado is diced then studded with briny capers, red onion and jalapeño. There’s some zest from lemon and a subtle bite from a hit of Dijon. Piled on a toasted baguette it’s essentially a mini trophy for your delicate knifework.
What you will need
Ingredients
Extra virgin olive oil
Red onion or shallot, minced
Dijon mustard
Lemon juice
Capers, drained
Small jalapeño
Parsley
Ripe avocados
Liquid smoke
Salt and pepper
Toast bread or baguette

Directions
Add olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, capers and onions to a medium bowl. Let sit and marinade for a minute or two.
Add the parsley and stir in the liquid smoke, jalapeño and SYNR.G 1:1 Cannabis Oil, if using. Salt and pepper to taste.
Fold in the diced avocado gently and mix until just combined.
Spoon a small mound and serve on toasted bread or baguette.
